Deep Cove

Nestled at the foot of Mount Seymour and next to the Indian Arm, it is a great place to relax and sightsee. You can also get a snack from the many takeaway outlets, lie on the grass and watch different activities unfold around you. Deep Cove can be reached by taking the exit on Dollarton highway after the second narrows bridge, and going along till the end. Buses #211 or #212 will take you there.

Lynn valley

Situated on Lynn Valley Road, north of Hwy 1, this community has restaurants, shops and two parks with swimming and hiking facilities. It boasts a new plaza and library designed to provide a common meeting place for the community. You can commute there by taking exit 19 on Hwy 1 or buses #228, #210, #255 or #229.

Doing business

Whether you are looking to invest in a business or starting a new one, North Vancouver offers some of the greatest opportunities in North America with no need to commute. According to a 2013 KPMG report on competitive alternatives, Vancouver ranked 5th with an index score of 87.0, falling marginally behind the likes of Frankfurt, London, Paris and Tokyo. Although North Vancouver has several public commuter options, most people prefer driving around.
