Their goal is to continue to make Vancouver’s downtown area the best in North America. It serves a nine block area with thousands of businesses.
Vancouver’s transit system had to be well planned because there is no major highway going through the city. TransLink, the transit system, provides several options for traveling around or to the city. TransLink offers buses, Skytrain, the commuter train West Coast Express, as well as Canada Line, another rail service. Sea Bus is a cross-harbour ferry service for passengers. These services often offer beautiful scenery of the surrounding area as well as the city while commuting.
Vancouver IS a Gem
Vancouver’s entertainment district is central for tourists. Its well known for its restaurants, bars, and nightlife. During the day it is bustling with tourists, shoppers and locals. Festivals are often taking place with artists, food and music. Shoppers enjoy going from store to store looking for that perfect item.
Second only to Shanghai in the number of neon signs, the streets are colorfully lit at night in the entertainment district. There are for the party lovers many bars, clubs and lounges to visit and enjoy. Towering hotels line the street offering guests an assortment to choose from. No matter what your favorite food may be, you can be sure that there are restaurants offering it in the area.
Vancouver is a gem among cities and is rated high for liveability because of its perfect location, cleanliness, employment opportunities, education and attractions. No matter what your lifestyle may be, it can be found here. From sunny beaches, to snowy mountains, trails to hike, bicycling, shopping or enjoying a night out, Vancouver can be what you are looking for whether to live there or to visit.
