The main commercial area of shops and services is in the Point Grey Village Business Improvement Association area between Tolmie and Discovery streets along West 10th Avenue. No rail transit reaches Point Grey, but there is plenty of street parking to make the Point Grey Village merchants easily accessible by vehicle. Frequent bus service along Routes ##7, 9, and 17 and night service routes between Downtown and Dunbar and UBC operate along 10th Avenue and Alma Street.
